January 8, 2014:G For Gold was the much awaited movie by the actor Mohanlal. Though it was earlier announced that the movie will mark the comeback of Manju Warrier in the industry, she was chucked out from the movie claiming that the script lacked a strong female support role. Now, when the movie was about to begin its shooting, the lead actor Mohanlal gets busy with his another project Mr Fraud. Mr Fraud is directed by B Unnikrishnan. The director as well as the actor did post about the shooting of the movie to begin soon on their official Facebook pages. This has clearly indicated that Ranjith directed movie G For Gold will now have to wait as Mr Fraud has taken over the baton.
B Unnikrishnan also stated that the first look poster of the movie will get released on 21st of this month. Mohnalal said that the movie is very unique in every way and that it comes under such a genre which has not been tried much in the Malayalam industry. Now, this statement has generated a curiosity about the film among the viewers. Meanwhile, Mohanlal is currently basking the success of his movie Drishyam, which was released in 2013. It has been selected as the Best Movie for the year too. With an outstanding performance, the actor has made a huge comeback. Apart from G For Gold and Mr Fraud, Mohanlal also has movies like Koothara, Peruchazhi and many others listed for the year.
