Mad Dad is Director Revathy's second movie venture
RRevathy S. Varma, the Malayali filmmaker who got noticed through her Tamil movie, June R, is making an entry into Mollywood. Titled Mad Dad, the movie will have superstar Mohanlal playing the title role. This is Revathy's second movie venture after June R which had Jyotika in lead role.
The movie Mad Dad will revolve around the lives of a father, his daughter and her lover. This movie is expected to be an emotional roller coaster. Mad Dad also throws light on the relationship that the father shares with his children's lovers.
The star cast of this film include Shwetha Menon, Archana Kavi, Salim Kumar and Harisree Ashokan.
A major role is expected to be played by a ‘young malayalam hero’. The director has still not confirmed the name. But according to several rumors Jayasurya will be that 'Young Hero'. Mad Dad will be produced by PNV Associates.
Mohanlal is currently working on Priyadarshan’s Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum.
