South Indian Actress Shalini Kumar

Shalini Kumar is a south Indian actress who debuted in Malayalam movie Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku, alongside Bharath Gopi and Superstar Mohanlal at the age of three. Shalini won the Kerala State Award for Best Child Artist. As a child artist Shalini completed over 80 films in Malayalam, Tamil and Telungu. Shalini made her debut as a heroine in the Malayalam movie Aniyathi Pravu which was remade in Tamil as Kadhalukku Mariyadhai - a box-office hit. Her pairing with Kunchacko Boban in Malayalam was bigger hits. Mani Ratnam cast her opposite Madhavan in Alaipayuthey. After her marriage to actor Ajith, she left the film industry.
