Two contestants of singing reality show, Rahul Saxena and Apurva Gajjala were injured in yesterday accident that occurred on the Jalna-Aurangabad highway in Maharashtra. In this accident, a sound recordist, Uday Dantale died on the way to hospital.
Saxena escaped with minor injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Jalna while Gajjal sustained severe injuries, they said.She is undergoing treatment at Dhoot hospital in Aurangabad and said to be unconscious.
The music troupe was on their way to Aurangabad after a programme in Jalna .
In Indian Idol 2006, Rahul was one of the top 10 singers and Apoorva Gajjala was the front-runners in the Zee Marathi Sa Re Ga Ma Pa music competition before a few years.
