Ileana became the number one heroine of Tollywood within no time and was inarguably the queen of Telugu cinema for almost half a decade. However her fort started to crack as her films started to bomb at the box office at a consistent manner.
Her last three films were major duds at the box office. Rechipo, Saleem and Shakti have outdone each other in leaving the buyers and producers in pain. Adding to that Ileana didn’t have a single release in 2010. Although she still has ‘it’ in her to be at the top, cards are not in favor of her in the recent times.
Ileana has to bounce to back with Nenu Naa Rakshasi to remain in the race. Or else she will have to completely shift her base to Tamil film industry where she is making a comeback with Shankar’s Nanban. Ileana fans hope that Rakshasi fetches her that much needed hit. We hope so too.
