The cold war between Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif started ever since Katrina was linked with Ranbir when Deepika was in relation with him. Deepika had even once doubted Katrina’s age when she expressed her desire to have a look at Katrina’s passport on a popular chat show. But recently when Katrina came under the political rage following her comments on Rahul Gandhi, Deepika didn’t’ miss the chance to take pot-shots at her rival. Deepika while promoting her film ‘Aarakshan’ was asked to give her take on the actual reservation and caste system in India. Her answer to the query was quite a smart one, she stated that she’d not like comment on a sensitive issue like that as she has no knowledge of it. She didn’t stop there and very cunningly taunted Katrina saying that if she didn’t understand politics she would like to stay away from making political statements. And she thinks people too should not be casual on these subjects.
Well we can very well guess who the pupil she is pointing to is. But when Katrina was conveyed Deepika’s similar message, she chose not to speak on it and turned away from the media gaze.
