Legendary poet / lyricist Vaali passed away yesterday due to a respiratory related illness, at the age of 81 and ever since his body was shifted from the Apollo Hospital to his residence in Karpagam Avenue, R.A.Puram, celebrities have been making a beeline to pay homage to the great man.
Ajith and Shalini were among the first to pay their tributes. Kamal Haasan, Harris Jayaraj, Shankar, Venkat Prabhu, Dharan, Deva, Srikanth Deva, Mirchi Shiva, Ilayaraja, Vairamuthu, Yuvan, Vijay Sethupathy, K Balachander, Bhagyaraj, PC Sreeram, Siva Kumar, Gangai Amaren, Madhan Karky were among the other celebrities who rushed to pay their last respects.
The cremation is set to happen today in Besant Nagar, Chennai at around 3 pm. Behindwoods once again pays its tributes to the deceased legend. There sure wouldn't be another like him.
