The wait is finally over. Manju Warrier’s much awaited jewellery ad with which she returns before the camera has been released on You Tube.
The ad features her as Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter; one who has been estranged from her dad following her decision to live with the man she chose. However, at the time of her delivery, she gives him a call, and the dutiful dad rushes to her side. Built on the ‘Trust’ adage that the Kalyan Jewellers ads have been based on, the ad though probably bordering a bit on the melodramatic, does have an emotional appeal. The user responses to the video have however been mixed, with some expressing appreciation, and others giving it a thumbs down.
And Manju Warrier – looking gorgeous and as confident as ever – is back. We wish her return to the silver screen to be as smooth as well.
