Bharathbala has taken trouble over Maryan ‘s sound, which is important for storytelling.
He has chosen the 11.1 channel based Auro 3D sound that is supposed to be superior to its rival, as it captures height based sounds.
Maryan will be mixed in the Auro 3D technology as the film’s sound needed it. Remember the film is set in three different milieus- fishing village and feel of ocean surface, deep in desert and underwater scenes. The Auro mixing is supposed to be fantastic.
Maryan sound was mixed at AR Rahman’s AM Studios which has signed an agreement with Barco to enhance its audio post- production. 27 screens in Tamil Nadu are said to have Auro by Barco system.
